This giclée print celebrates Engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel's iconic ship that was innovative engineering at its best. With an iron hull and screw propellers no one had seen anything like it before when Prince Albert launched it in 1863. Salvaged in 1970 and since restored as a museum ship on the floating harbour in Bristol she is now part of the National Historic Fleet.

The illustration started with a hand-drawn sketch to capture the vessel’s unique engineered beauty and the fine detail of the design and surrounding architecture, which I then explored and enhanced using a simple digital colour palette.

Printed on high-quality Tintoretto Gesso art paper, your print is delivered unframed but with a snow white mount with an overall size of 300mm x 300mm for easy framing. This is an open edition print and will be hand-signed by the artist.

Whether you are celebrating a specific event, evoking happy memories or simply marvelling at the city’s engineering heritage, this is a lovely view of Bristol to display for years to come.

Free UK 2nd class post and packing are included in the price shown.
